Greetings CASP,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2025! We hope you’re feeling refreshed from winter break and ready to dive into an exciting new quarter. The start of a new year is filled with opportunities and possibilities, but don’t forget to prioritize self-care—it’s key to achieving the goals you’ve set for yourself. In the meantime, this newsletter is packed with events and opportunities for you, so be sure to explore everything we have in store for you!
We are opened virtually starting Thursday, January 2nd 2025. We will be opened in person again on Monday, January 6th 2025 with our regular working hours.
We are open! Come by and say hello to our new office located on the 3rd floor of Center Hall (through Door E & F). We have free printing, a dry kitchen, and a study space open Mon - Fri from 9 am - 5 pm.

Critter Encounter @ The Library | |

Join us for an exciting and interactive event featuring five animal ambassadors from Critter Encounters’ Wildlife Sanctuary! During this upbeat and educational presentation, you’ll have the chance to learn about and connect with these incredible creatures. Seats are limited and reserved exclusively for UC San Diego students, so be sure to register quickly once registration becomes available on December 17th!

This event is a part of the Holocaust Living History Workshop (HLHW) series, an education and outreach program sponsored by the UC San Diego Library and the Jewish Studies program. It aims to preserve the memories of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust by offering public events involving witnesses, descendants and scholars and through the use of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute’s Visual History Archive. Registration is free for students.
