Greetings CASP,


Happy February! You've probably started getting back into the groove of things. Since the end of Winter break, many of you have already gone through a midterm or have one coming up and are looking forward to that fast-approaching finish line. We're here to tell you that you got this! During it all, you have the benefit of all these awesome activities and opportunities listed below to help you take some of that stress off or get pumped about the future. There's plenty to look forward to!


In this newsletter, you'll find information regarding CASP events, UCSD opportunities, and resources available around the corner so make sure to read for more details!


Our physical office space is open for students! Come by and say hello to our new office located on the 3rd floor of Center Hall (through Door E & F). We have free printing, a dry kitchen, and a study space open Mon - Fri from 9 am - 5 pm.

The Coming Out group is a place to meet and gain support while discussing your sexual and/or gender Identities in a confidential setting. This group is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, straight, or questioning folks who are coming out, considering coming out or may already be out. Topics are determined by group participants and can include stress, fear, anxiety, loneliness, family/cultural issues, excitement and celebration with regard to coming out. Coming out is an ongoing process in life for the LGBTQ+ community, all are welcome.
