On-Campus Student Employment Opportunities!
On-campus positions give you the hands-on experience and networking opportunities that other jobs may offer, but with the flexibility to manage your student-life/balance.
UC San Diego’s on-campus life has resumed, and students are back in-person and ready to learn. We need your help filling the various positions available to students. And the best part? On campus employers understand that being a student is your #1 priority. Your studies, academic success, and mental health are important to us. That is why each year, thousands of students choose to work on campus at UC San Diego - for convenience, networking, furthering their education, and supporting themselves.

CASP Alumni Highlights - Candi Xayxana '18
Chancellor’s Associates Scholar Alumni (CASP) are demonstrating their pride in UC San Diego in countless ways. A perfect example is Candi Xaysana ’18, a CASP alum who works as a Research Analyst at Bespoke Partners. Because of Candi’s involvement, Bespoke Partners is making an investment at UC San Diego by not only supporting a current-use Chancellor’s Associates Scholarship, leveraging the Silberman Inspiration Challenge II to fund a transfer student in social sciences but also making a gift to CASP to fund wraparound services such as peer mentoring that every scholar receives.

Comcast will be staring off this school year by expanding eligibility for the Internet Essentials program to all Federal Pell Grant recipients across its service area. This expansion will allow nearly one million additional low-income students to benefit from Internet Essentials, Comcast's signature broadband adoption and digital equity initiative.
Starting August 23, 2021, students receiving a Federal Pell Grant, can use their Financial Aid Award Letter as proof of eligibility for Internet Essentials. Expanding Internet Essentials eligibility to include Federal Pell Grant recipients brings eligibility more fully in-line with the federal government's Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) eligibility, but is a permanent, structural change to the eligibility for the program.
So, students can rest assured that they will be able to either have Internet service for free under EBB or for a heavily discounted price of just $9.95/month.

UC San Diego - Return to Learn
|
The Return to Learn Program is a voluntary student program that screens for active SARS-CoV-2 virus, the virus that causes COVID-19 disease. If you choose to participate, you will be helping potentially reduce the risks of COVID-19 outbreaks and making our UC San Diego community a healthier place.
In this initial phase, in May 2020, SARS-CoV-2 testing was be made available to resident undergraduate and graduate students currently residing on campus. Participation is voluntary, but all eligible students are encouraged to participate, and there will be no cost to the students who choose to participate.
The Return to Learn Program is for asymptomatic student volunteers only. If you are having COVID-19 symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, fever, chills, loss of smell or taste), please call Student Health Services at 858-534-3300.
At this time UC San Diego is not able to accommodate students who do not reside in on-campus housing, nor families of students who may also live on campus. They hope to expand testing in the future so that we can accommodate many more groups.
