Greetings CASP,

Happy May! We hope this newsletter finds you well as we reach our halfway point of the Spring quarter. These are complicated times with many geopolitical challenges across the globe. The CASP team encourages you to engage in thoughtful dialogue, seek understanding, and support each other with empathy and compassion.

With the end of the academic year around the corner, some of you are counting down the days until the end of your first year at UCSD; others may be counting down to graduation. Regardless, CASP is so proud of everything you have accomplished and wish you nothing but the best! Good luck and see you all around!

In this newsletter, you will find information regarding upcoming events, alumni engagement events, graduation celebrations, and deadlines. Please read through to learn more about these opportunities!

Come by and say hello to our new office located on the 3rd floor of Center Hall (through Door E & F). We have free printing, a dry kitchen, and a study space open Mon - Fri from 9 am - 5 pm.

Are you interested in working in education? Because working with First Gen Scholars would be the perfect opportunity for you! They are currently looking for continuing undergraduates and recent graduates to fill up three part-time summer positions listed in the surrounding flyers. These positions are for the City-Heights and South Bay areas of San Diego. Multi-Identity Art Collective is an intersectional art group geared toward no one in particular because we take everyone! Humans of all artistic skill levels, specialties, and identities are welcome to join us. We hold art workshops and other social events!

This is UCUES Survey Apple a Day prize week! Each day this week we will have a drawing for one of 5 Apple prizes including:

1 Apple iPad, 

1 Apple Watch Series 3,

3 Apple Air pods,

And for completing the UCUES survey you will be entered into our prize drawings for a:

The UC Undergraduate Experience Survey (UCUES) gives you an opportunity to tell us about undergraduate life at UC San Diego and how we can improve it.  All UC undergraduates throughout the UC system are invited to participate every two years since 2004. We also conduct weekly prize drawings including $40 Visa Gift Cards, $25 UCSD Bookstore Cards, and selected campus eateries card ($25).  Let your voice be heard on UCUES, and win prizes!

Epstein Family Amphitheater hosts a Farmers Market event every Tuesday from 10am - 2pm, starting October 3rd
