Hello
Spring is in full bloom at UC San Diego. CASP welcomed incoming local students at the annual CASP freshman induction ceremony with Chancellor Khosla and students' families, supporters, and community members.
Current first-years will soon be seasoned mentors to the incoming class as some of our other CASP students prepare to graduate.
Whether you are taking on more leadership roles, getting involved in research, or expanding your academic horizons, all of you are on a path to bigger things. This issue is dedicated to upcoming CASP and UCSD events as well as many academic opportunities.
As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns at [email protected], (858) 534-8366 or stop by the CASP office on the 5th Floor of the Student Services Center (suite #555).

CASP LIVING ARCHIVE |
In the summer of 2017 we piloted a new project at CASP 101 (our summer transition program), that we call the CASP Living Archive. For the Living Archive, we interviewed and recorded individual student's personal narratives.
These interviews were held before their first Fall quarter as UCSD students and we will be offering them the opportunity to be interviewed again, before they graduate from UCSD.
All interviews published as part of this series are with the permission of the students.
