I am excited announce that CAST recently created the CAST Endowment Fund at Stark Community Foundation as a way to ensure a permanent source of income and a sustainable scholarship program. The CAST Endowment Fund welcomes gifts of all kinds, including cash, bequests, real estate, life insurance and retirement assests. Gifts can be made online: The CAST Endowment Fund or by calling

I continue to be so thankful to be part of an organization fully committed to serving others and providing scholarship resources to students in our community. In fact, one of our former Early College High School students, Nyah Smith, was just elected Student Body President at Miami Unitersity. You can read more about her story in the article below.

Finally, please save the date (May 25th) for CAST Blast. It's going to be a great celebration of our community partners, our students and each other.

Young Adult CAST

CAST is excited to announce the summer launch of CAST 4 Young Adults! This is a space for high school seniors, college students and those who are "young at heart" to build friendships, community, and have hands-on serving experiences in their community.This new group CAST is welcoming into our family will meet for the first time Friday, May 26th 6:30-8pm at The One Center for Leadership

What started off as a small vision has grown into something much bigger than founders Bill and Marcia Shearer could have ever imagined. Bill says this vision all started with one horse, who taught him "patience, trust, forgiveness, and the ability to keep trying". It is now patience, trust, forgiveness and persistence..and Christ that act as the pillars for each session they host at both WGH and Freedom Farm.

This month CAST is excited to be able to share with you one of our longtime partners and friends, Whispering Grace Horses / Freedom Farm!

At Whispering Grace Horses /Freedom Farm their mission is to Provide HEALING of the HEART while encouraging an atmosphere of HOPE through Christ-centered prayer and guidance in our community. Whispering Grace Horses creates an avenue that helps people build better relationships.

Bill and Marcia are excited to share that their fundraising event, Back in the Saddle is scheduled for September 9th at Freedom Farm. This will be an evening full of live entertainment, food, and both live and silent auction items. Tickets are already being sold for this evening! Chapel at WGH / Freedom Farms!

God moves at Whispering Grace Horses and Freedom Farm! This is why we are excited to watch as the Chapel construction begins. What started as a vision of a couple horses and a few acres of land has grown into two farms, a chapel and hundreds of lives changed. Even more exciting..all building supplies and construction are being donated!

#CASTkids have had a blast getting back to serving at WGH! Our high school students will be serving at WGH on a monthly basis next school year..and we can not wait! If you would like to serve alongside of the #CASTkids at WGH click the link below!

#CASTkids Corner

It's time to help #CASTkids raise some dough! At CAST we recognize that #CASTkids play a vital role in CAST as well as in our community as a whole.

It is because of all the amazing things these students do that we aim to continue to support and build relationships with them.

We all need to eat dinner and we all love to support our #CASTkids..this is why we are asking all of our friends and family to join us at Blaze Pizza, Monday April 10th for dinner! 20% percent of your order proceeds will go back to the #CASTkids!

Keeping up with our Graduates!

We are so excited to share that Early College High School Graduate, Nyah Smith, was elected Student Body President at Miami University! Nyah and Jules made history being the university's first all-Black ticket to be elected! To say that we are proud is an understatement!
