A note from CASTA's President:
Dear CASTA Members!
I hope you are all enjoying this lovely spring. As always these are exciting times for Transit in Colorado.
I wanted to take this time to remind you of a number of ways YOU can help us move transit forward, make our systems more sustainable, and our jobs more efficient. Here is how you can help:
1. CDOT DTR has issued a draft Grantee Manual, please take the time to review the manual and provide your comments to Rob. This manual is key to our success as grant partners with CDOT and will be the guiding document for our partnership going forward. As you have likely heard me say before and I will again, please take your seat at the table - engage in and participate in this process. Your voice matters and together we make Colorado transit what it is today and will be in the future.
Comments are due April 25th. If you have questions about the manual please contact Rob at 303-757-9766.
A copy of the Draft manual can be found on CDOT's website.
to see the draft!
2. Call your Grant Coordinator today say hi! And see if there are any items you have due back to them in the near future (e.g. Title VI Plans, ADA Paratransit Plans, DBE reports, etc...)
If you haven't yet, please register and attend the CASTA Spring Conference! We can't wait to see you in Pueblo. If you have any questions or have ideas on how we can improve please feel free to contact me at
or call 970-375-4949.
That's all for now! Thank you for all you do for Colorado Transit!
President, CASTA Board of Directors
