STORYLINE:
Teddy Littlechild is a cop with the Crowsnest Tribal Police Department who has dedicated himself to protecting the reserve he was born and raised on. Tormented by a mysterious shame that has isolated him from his people, he is tasked with teaching his naive new partner, Sandra, how policing is different on the res. Meanwhile, recently released from prison and now on the run for a series of brutal gangland murders, Richie Blacklance returns to the reservation to lay low, settle old feuds and take his 12 year old nephew, Albert, under his wing. Onto Richie’s chaotic trail and the violence he leaves in his wake, Teddy is forced to face his past in hopes of finally finding redemption and ending the cycle of gang violence in his community.
BREAKDOWN OF NEW ROLE
[METH HEAD] 20 to 30 years old, Hispanic, Indigenous or Caucasian man. A foot soldier in a gang. He’s energetic, though starting to show the rot and toll of drug abuse. He’s fanatically loyal to the gang, but more so to Richie, who’s ferociousness and power he aspires to emulate. FEATURED. (Currently scheduled 5 days, Feb 7-16)
