Are you a VT Notary?

VT Notary commissions are set to expire at the end of January 2025. The Office of Professional Regulation of the Secretary of State's Office has mandated a minimum of one hour of relevant continuing education for non-attorney notaries who are not otherwise exempt. The continuing education must be completed and documented prior to re-commissioning. See the Administrative Rules here.

Meet Goretti Fitzgibbons

Goretti Fitzgibbons joined CATIC in 2016 and specializes in conducting compliance reviews throughout CATIC’s footprint. We are very excited to welcome Goretti to VT. Her extensive experience in the compliance department is complimented by over twenty years of experience in finance prior to joining CATIC.

As the CATIC Compliance Consultant for New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and several counties in Massachusetts, Goretti is dedicated to helping agents navigate and adhere to ALTA guidelines, ensuring they meet their compliance goals. Goretti believes that a well-managed compliance process will support our agents’ commitment to managing their offices smoothly and efficiently. 

In her free time, Goretti enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is also a huge Boston sports fan and enjoys cheering on her favorite teams.

The hard work of compiling updated town information is underway, and the new Town Clerk Directory will be available soon!

As you are aware, CATIC as an organization has gone green, therefore we will not be printing the TCD this year. Instead, we have created a digital flipping book that will include updates in live time!

The TCD can also be accessed on our website and via the municipal app.
