SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
For Immediate Release
CATZ PHYSICAL THERAPY TO MERGE WITH SPTA
Late last year CATZ went though an ownership change. Our goal was to evaluate and update the facility, expand our offerings and utilize all of the space to create a great workout and wellness experience for our clients.  We have added new equipment, built out the new strength room, added HIIT and TRX classes and painted the facility. In continuing with our update we have some exciting news to share with you about changes that are coming to CATZ Physical Therapy in September.

CATZ will be merging our physical therapy department with Sports and Physical Therapy Associates (SPTA) on September 1st.  We will be opening a new and expanded clinic under the SPTA name in our facility.  This clinic will be located in the space on the opposite side of the training center.

All CATZ Physical Therapy employees will continue to be employed by SPTA.  Laura Hurley will be managing a newly opened SPTA clinic in Westwood. Courtney Brown will be a full-time therapist in Needham.  Ally Collins will continue to manage our front desk and will also serve as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Needham High School.  Debbie Murphy will be working for SPTA on a part-time basis.  In addition, Eric Mathieson recently accepted a position with the Wellesley School System as an Assistant Teacher in the Special Needs Physical Education Department.  We are pleased that Eric will also continue to work at CATZ as a coach on a part-time basis.

We will also be welcoming some new SPTA employees to our facility.  Sue Salter will be managing the clinic and brings 20+ years of experience as a physical therapist.  Ori Rochbert and Brenna Schnappler will be working with Sue.  Many of you may know Ori as he is also the Head Athletic Trainer at Needham High School.

This collaboration with SPTA will further enhance patient care.  SPTA is a leading physical therapy company with 20 locations around the Boston area and a particular focus on sports-related injuries.  SPTA works with a number of the leading orthopedic surgeons in the area.

SPTA will be moving into the new space over the next few weeks.  Patients will be start treatment under SPTA effective September 1st.  To schedule an appointment with SPTA, you can call (781) 444-5141 or simply stop by the clinic and ask at the front desk.  Additional information can be found on the SPTA website at www.sportsandpt.com.

The CATZ vision of a wellness model includes Massage Therapy and Chiropractic Care. We are very excited that Amy Proctor will continue to be offering massage therapy here at CATZ.  If you have not experienced her work she is a very talented and experienced therapist and we are lucky to have her with us.

We would also like to welcome back Dr. Jacqueline Bouley of Livewell Chiropractic to our facility.  Jacqueline practices general chiropractic but specializes in treating athletes in a variety of sports, weight lifters, and pregnant women. She uses gentle but effective adjustments and uses a holistic perspective for all patients.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to any of the CATZ staff.

Sincerely,
The CATZ Needham Management
