Get to Know the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act aka The Federal Lemon Law
The Magnuson-Moss Warrant Act (MMWA) is a federal law that that provides additional protections to consumers regarding consumer goods transactions valued at more than $25 where warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer or seller. For this article, we will focus on how MMWA relates to new or used, cars and trucks.

So, what is a warranty exactly? A warranty is a promise from the manufacturer or dealership-limited to a specific amount of time or vehicle mileage accumulation-that they stand behind their product or that repairs and replacements will be made to correct specific defects or malfunctions free of charge during the warranty period. California Governor Signed an Executive Order to Boost the Supply of Zero-Emission Vehicles and Charging Stations
The order establishes an eight-year, $2.5 billion initiative to continue the state's clean vehicle rebates and to spur more infrastructure investments, with 250,000 new electric charging stations and 200 new hydrogen fueling stations by 2025. The governor is also calling for investing $1.25 billion in cap-and-trade auction money to reduce carbon pollution and improve the environment with investments in transportation, including mass transit and cycling. The order signed in January provides a path for a new target of 5 million zero-emission cars on California roads by 2030. The existing target of 1.5 million zero-emission cars by 2025, was authorized by Brown in 2012. For more details read here. Source: Sacramento Business Journal
