(Sacramento, CA. - March 14, 2017) CAWA Chair of the Board, Michael Antonelli of Vantage Marketing Global, has appointed Tim Rose of JX Nippon Oil & Energy to the Association's Manufacturers' Advisory Council (MAC). When Chair Antonelli announced the appointment he commented: "Mr. Rose has a tremendous amount of auto care industry experience and will be a contributor to CAWA's leadership team. The Association is pleased that he has volunteered his service in joining our leadership and contributing to the future successes of CAWA".
Currently, Mr. Rose works for JX Nippon Oil & Energy to develop their line of lubricant products and expand distribution channels. He has over forty years of experience in the auto care industry , starting as a technician and service advisor in a dealership, then managing the operations of an independent automotive shop, and continued his career as an outside sales rep for an import parts warehouse until the company was sold to the Altrom Corporation. With Altrom, Mr. Rose developed and operated a new distribution facility and held several positions with them including the role as a manufacturer's trainer responsible for bringing in depth product knowledge to the customers. He was also a two time winner of Altrom's "Sales Rep of the Year" for 2010 and 2011. He resides in University Place, Washington and has many hobbies including golf, hiking, and fishing but his passion is flying. Mr. Rose earned his pilot certificate 30 years ago and is currently working on getting an instrument rating.
CAWA is a regional automotive aftermarket trade association, which represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers, manufacturer representatives and program groups. The Association provides education, legislative, regulatory and business support to the industry and its membership.
