Keep Bridge Alive!

The Southeast Bridge Club Consortium Offers
Columbia Bridge Club members
new opportunities on Bridge Base Online.

Welcome to the Southeast Bridge Club Consortium (based in Knoxville, TN)! The SEBCC Mission is to keep bridge players of all levels engaged and excited about bridge. When we get back to Face to Face bridge, we want the players EAGER to show off their new skills and knowledge to their friends at their clubs.

Your club manager, Kathy Kimmerling, has consulted with us
and your CBC Board has voted to grant you access to our
online virtual bridge club.

You have been added to the membership of our club.
You're welcome to play with us anytime that you would like to play, but we also ask that you support Columbia Bridge Club games when they have an offering that is similar.

To find these Virtual Club games from the home screen on BBO: Choose Competitive and then ACBL Virtual Clubs. Our games should appear in the same area where your Columbia Bridge Club games are found.

We offer games four times each day: 9:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 7:00 PM. Every session has both Limited and Open games available (Open games are awarded extra Masterpoints when there are also Limited games at the same time). Our offerings are lengthy.

The best way to understand our offerings is via our online schedule. And, when you are ready, you can click here to find our club results.

Our virtual club does some things
that may or may not interest you....

As our club professional (national champion), Kevin Wilson does three short (45 min) lessons each week on BBO. They are called Bridge Bites with Kevin. They are at 12 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. They are free. You go on BBO and look for Kevin. His BBO player name is Grypho. Click on his name and then, in the popup box that appears, click JOIN to come to his table. We use BBO Voice and Zoom for each session. On Monday he does hands of the week, on Wednesdays he does a series (currently on the 12 habits of highly effective bidders - very advanced), and on Saturdays he usually answers questions that people send through email or BBO mail.

We do live postmortems six days a week after both our 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM games. They are also free. Jim Ricker (ABTA Teacher of the Year) does the majority of these. We discuss the hands and answer your questions from the Common Game hands. Even if you do not play with us, you're welcome to attend if you like. Those are led by username SEBCCPOST at a BBO Teaching table OR you can go directly to zoom every day (except Sunday) at 3:15 and 6:15 with this link POSTMORTEM ZOOM LINK and you join the table as above. These postmortems are also recorded and posted on our website -  POSTMORTEM RECORDINGS.

To help us serve you better, please consider the following:
Although you are already on the Include List, please send an email with your BBO username to Jim (jdricker.jdr@gmail.com) to be added to the Southeast BBO mailing list—this helps us with our communications to the player base.

During the special ACBL Weeks, we do daily bulletins with articles and hand write-ups.

Once again, It is important that you continue to support
Columbia Bridge Club Games. We are here to give you a wealth of alternatives when Columbia Bridge Club does not have a game.
