Worship Team

Musicians Needed

There is a need for musicians and vocalists to join the CBC worship team! For vocalists, auditions will be held on October 25^th ; musicians will audition on November 1^st. Both auditions will be held at 12:30 pm in the main room. If you are interested, please contact Matt Villalobos to obtain your music for the audition.

New Prayer Ministry

Interest Meeting

We are hoping to start a new prayer ministry at CBC. The “Pre-Service Prayer Team” will help cover our CBC campus in prayer before our Sunday morning services. 

As part of this team, on your assigned Sunday, you’ll arrive before services and pray over our children’s area, our adult classrooms, youth room, and main room to blanket our gathering place in prayer.

If you’re interested in hearing more about this team – join us for an Interest Meeting following services this Sunday, October 4th at 12:30PM in Room 18.

Decorating Coordinator

Do you enjoy organizing, decorating and the holiday season? Then you may enjoy being our seasonal Decorating Coordinator! This volunteer role will steward the church's decorating supplies, lead the planning and execution of Christmas and Easter decorating days, and care for smaller decoration tasks seasonally. Time commitment is about 2-4 days per quarter. For more information contact Ela Cabrera.

Museum of the Bible

Faith & Culture

What is going on with A.I. (artificial intelligence)? Is it humanity's greatest achievement or will it bring the end of the world? Should we embrace A.I. or fear A.I.? Either way, one thing we cannot do is ignore it.

Join us Friday, October 16th at 7:00PM for our next Faith & Culture: A.I. - One Year Later where we will see what has happened over this last year in the world of Artificial Intelligence and discuss what A.I. means to our lives and following Jesus.

We are Hiring!

We are excited to share that we are opening applications for two part-time positions - both an Office Administrator and a Communications Coordinator - to join our ministry team.

We are so grateful to Ela Cabrera, who has faithfully served as our Office Administrator for over 4 years. Ela is stepping down from this role in November after being an amazing behind the scenes shepherd and organizer of our records, calendar, room setup, communications and a host of other details that have helped provide support to our ministries and kept things running smoothly.

With this transition in mind, we are now prayerfully seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator and an Office Administrator. If you or someone you know might be a great fit for these positions, we would love for you to prayerfully consider applying. Women's Retreat Registration

Ladies, our fall women's retreat will take place Friday, November 6 -Sunday, November 8, at Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center in Falling Waters, West Virginia. This special weekend offers an opportunity to step away from life's busyness and be refreshed, spend time with CBC sisters and friends, hear powerful teaching from God's Word, and spend time in worship and in fun. 

This year's speaker is Kristin Tabb, who will speak on the theme Forgiveness: Bridging the Gap. She will explore how God's forgiveness fuels our own, how to extend grace for profound wounds when earthly restoration is impossible, the danger of lingering resentment, and practical ways to offer forgiveness with the Lord's help.

Kentucky Dental Missions

October 8-12

On October 8-12, join our CBC member, Dr. Joe Grieco for a weekend of countless smiles and eternal impact.

The clinic provides dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions, all without charge. They are looking for volunteers to assist the dentists, to welcome people in line and to share the gospel with them. Cost is $100 for meals and lodging.
