Member Meeting

Our next Member Meeting is on October 25 at 5:00PM in the Main Room. We have several Member Meetings each year to let everyone know how God is working at CBC through our ministries, plans for the next few months, and progress toward our long-range plan.

At this meeting, we will have updates from many of our ministries like the Safety Team, Clothes to You, Next Steps,  Spiritual Formation, and several others. As we move forward with our Long-Range Plan, we'll discuss new developments and status.  There will also be an update on church finances and our plans for the Christmas season.

While current CBC members are encouraged to attend this meeting, anyone is welcome to join us and learn how God is working at our church. There will be childcare provided for children nursery through Pre-K.

Parenting Class

If you are new to CBC or have not attended a parenting class before, join our Family Ministries Pastor John Ramira for an intro to Family Ministries at CBC on October 25th at 11AM in the Youth Room. We plan to share with you our vision, marks of discipleship in the home, creating values for families, milestones, and resources for parenting. We would love to just sit, listen, get to know your family and learn how to partner with you better.

Worship Team

Musicians & Vocalists

There is a need for musicians and vocalists to join the CBC worship team! For vocalists, auditions will be held on October 25^th ; musicians will audition on November 1^st. Both auditions will be held at 12:30PM in the main room. If you are interested, please contact Matt Villalobos to obtain your music for the audition.

We are Hiring!

We are excited to share that we are opening applications for two part-time positions to join our ministry team, both an Office Administrator and a Communications Coordinator.

We are so grateful to Ela Cabrera, who has faithfully served as our Office Administrator for over 4 years. Ela is stepping down from this role in November after being an amazing behind the scenes shepherd and organizer of our records, calendar, room setup, communications and a host of other details that have helped provide support to our ministries and kept things running smoothly.

With this transition in mind, we are now prayerfully seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator and an Office Administrator. If you or someone you know might be a great fit for these positions, we would love for you to prayerfully consider applying. More details about the roles and how to apply can be found at chantillybible.org/jobs

Women's Retreat Registration

Ladies, our fall women's retreat will take place Friday, November 6th - Sunday, November 8th, at Potomac Park Retreat and Conference Center in Falling Waters, West Virginia. This special weekend offers an opportunity to step away from life's busyness and be refreshed, spend time with CBC sisters and friends, hear powerful teaching from God's Word, and spend time in worship and in fun.

This year's speaker is Kristin Tabb, who will speak on the theme Forgiveness: Bridging the Gap. She will explore how God's forgiveness fuels our own, how to extend grace for profound wounds when earthly restoration is impossible, the danger of lingering resentment, and practical ways to offer forgiveness with the Lord's help.

Registration is open and will run through October 25th. More detailed information and online registration can be found at
