CBC SOCCER IS COMING
TO KANSAS CITY!
The success CBC's Soccer team during its awesome playoff run translates into quite a busy CBC weekend in the Kansas City area on November 16th and potentially November 17th. We need ALL Kansas City area alumni to come out and support our team! This is a huge moment for Coach Terry Michler '65 and the 2012 CBC SOCCER TEAM!
Many soccer fans know that Coach Michler played professional soccer for Kansas City's pro team, the Spurs, in the late 1960s.
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CADETS AND COME OUT FOR THE GAME!
If you know any CBC alumni living in the Kansas City area that we may have missed with this e-newsletter, please invite them to join us at the big game on Friday night at 4 p.m. at Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Mo.
By virtue of CBC's thrilling 3-2 win over Vianney in the State Soccer playoffs last Saturday, Coach Michler's Cadets will play in the state soccer semifinals this Friday at 4 p.m. at Blue Springs South High School (1200 Adams Dairy Parkway in Blue Springs, MO). CBC will face Rockhurst High School in the state semis.
The State Championship game, should CBC advance, will be played on Saturday, November 17th at 4 p.m. at the same site.
BROADCASTS:
THE FRIDAY SOCCER GAME WILL BE BROADCAST IN TWO VENUES:
- MSHSAA.TV will provide a telecast of the game at www.MSHSAA.tv.
- THE CADET NETWORK will provide an AUDIO version of the game at Prepcasts.com. CBC President and CBC Soccer alumnus MIKE ENGLAND '83 and CBC Teacher TOM EICHWALD '07 have the call from Blue Springs South.
While both channels provide excellent information, consider turning down the audio on the LIVE STREAM VIDEO at MSHSAA.tv and listening to our own crew on The Cadet Network. Our guys are broadcasters who are familiar with the team, our program and this incredible run we've been on to get to the state semis. They are alumni who are passionate about the school. If it's the extra insight you want, tune in to The Cadet Network.
