September 15 - Young Adults - The Bridge
Join us as we begin a new six-week series called the Goodness of God. If you are age 18 to 30 come check out the Bridge on Thursday nights at the Bastrop Campus at 7:00 p.m.
September 17 - Baconfest
Join us this Saturday at the Smithville Campus for the Men's Ministry Baconfest from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. This event is open to all men and there is no need to RSVP, just show up and enjoy time together and BACON!
September 24 - Senior Adult Lunch and Games
Join us from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bastrop Campus for buttered baked potatoes and games. Bring your own baked potato toppings and games. Register today!
September 25 - Communion Sunday
We will have communion in all of our Sunday services.
September 25 - Family Picnic
Save the date for the CBC family picnic at Lake Bastrop North Shore beginning at 4:00 p.m. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided and served around 5:00 p.m. Bring your own drinks.
September 30 and October 1 - THE Discipleship Conference

October 8 - Kids Outdoor Zone Training
KOZ provides men with training and curriculum to mentor boys using outdoor adventures. On October 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at our Smithville Campus, we will have training for men interested in joining this ministry. For more information about KOZ click here.
October 10 - Student Ministry Goes to Main Event
Want to go bowling, play mini golf, and laser tag? Our students will be going to Main Event in Austin on Monday, October 10. The cost is $20 and which includes everything already mentioned plus a $10 arcade card, 2 slices of pizza, and a drink. Register today.
October 15 - Women's Conference
Join us for encouraging keynote sessions that will highlight God’s faithfulness! We’ll also have vibrant worship, lunch from Johnson’s Bakery, and a variety of breakout sessions that will help you put your faith into practice. Pastor Search Committee Church-Wide Survey
The Pastor Search Committee wants your help finding the next Pastor the Lord has for us! The survey will be available until September 25. You should have received an email with the link to the survey on September 11 or you can click here to take the surevey; you may use a phone, tablet, or computer to complete it. Thank you for helping in this critical task, as it is the last step before formally posting the position.
Children's Christmas Musical
If you have a child in 1st through 6th grade who would like to participate in the Children's Christmas Program, please join us at the Bastrop Campus on Sundays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Mission Outreach Opportunity
Our Missions Team has partnered with the Born Again Emporium in Smithville to provide volunteers to process donated items and help with sales. We have spots to fill for September 16 and 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you are interested in helping, contact Diane Fauth for more information.
