July 30 - Women@Calvary Game Night
Join us for a super-cool game night. We will provide some games, but feel free to bring one to share. Let’s meet new people and have fun! Ice cream will be provided. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall of the Bastrop Campus at 6:30 p.m. Invite your friends to this free event - we can’t wait to see you there! Register here so we have a headcount for snacks and games.
July 31 - Benevolence Sunday
This Sunday, July 31, you have the opportunity to give to the Benevolence Fund. All monies go directly to help people within CBC and the Bastrop area who are experiencing a financial emergency. You can give online here by selecting Benevolence Fund from the drop-down menu. You can also put your offering in a Giving Box, but please note Benevolence on either your envelope or check.
July 31 - Bastrop Connections Team Meeting
If you are interested in helping make our Sunday morning services happen, we would love to have you join our team. We need help in many areas such as greeting people as they come in the doors, sound, and media during the services and connecting people with the activities and ministries at CBC. Join us Sunday in room 101 at 3:00 p.m.
August 7 - Communion Sunday
We will have communion in all of our services at both our Bastrop and Smithville campuses.
August 7 - Family Meeting
Join us Sunday, August 7 at the Bastrop Campus in the Small Auditorium at 5:00 p.m. for our family meeting. The 2022-2023 proposed budget will be discussed.
The Bridge - Young Adults@Calvary
Join us Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. at the Bastrop Campus for a 6-week series called Live Unashamed - The Book of 1 John. We'll explore six things we can know for sure about forgiveness, relationships, the truth, victory, God’s love, and salvation.
Recommendation for Church Membership
The Church Council is recommending Caleb Ezagui for membership at Calvary Baptist Church. If you have concerns about this recommendation, please contact the Church Council. Members of the CBC Church Council are Jim Jordan, David Redd, and Ross Winton.
