The
CBCF's sixth Executive Economic Summit (EES VI) "Detroit, A Tale of Two Cities" Overcoming the Challenges of the Past, Present and Future for Black Businesses," travels to Detroit, Michigan in next month.
The sixth in a series of summits promoting minority access to capital --- in the aftermath of Detroit's 2013 bankruptcy --- this summit aims to raise awareness, inform policy, and provide examples of economic recovery and business solutions for black businesses and black communities.
To request an invitation to attend the EES VI, please submit your request at CBCFinc.org/RSVP
Last week, another cohort of CBCF interns completed their internships on Capitol Hill! Since January, they have worked alongside policy makers, legislative directors, and communications experts in Congressional member offices. As they prepare to embark on their professional careers, we are confident that they will continue in the spirit of CBCF's motto, "I Lead. I Serve."
Thanks to our generous sponsors, Walmart and State Farm for their unyielding support of our Leadership Institute programs.
