What's Been Happening Around CBC
CBC Main Office is Moving
The CBC main office in North Carolina is moving from their current location on Fairhill Dr in Raleigh to a new location across town. We will be moving in adjacent to the new Lindley Day Program in North Raleigh. More to come! (The new location is pictured above.)

As North Carolina and Florida are easing restrictions, we are working on policies and procedures for safely re-opening facilities. Please know that we are following local and state guidelines to best protect the health and safety of those we serve and our staff.

Recognizing the Great Work Being Done By Our Team!
  • A special thank you to Joella McCluster from SunCoast and Barbara Kirksey from CI. Their teams at Suncoast and CI are dealing directly with COVID-19 cases within the residential setting. These leaders and teams have not wavered through these extraordinary circumstances.  
  • Kudos go out to the Lindley Training Instructors (Chello Timmons, Marilyn Rankin, Keltz Summers, and Naomi Bingham) for taking on this crisis training with COVID-19 and working to ensure agencies have trainings available to them to keep staff up to date with NCI and CPR. They are leading trainings all over North Carolina.
  • Thank you Nickie Hinson at HomeCare for her creativity in engaging her team in this virtual world. She recently held a virtual luncheon with her team, complete with baby picture guessing!
  • Big thanks to Jamie Garrett and Leon Odell for helping us refine our data, information and reporting. More importantly they are converting our data into actionable information to help shape our results and better serve our individuals and families.

This month we highlight CBC HomeCare's Amy Ford
Amy is an Executive Assistant for CBC HomeCare. She has worked for us since 2000. Amy's primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support for our CAP-DA and Personal Care Program in Lenoir, NC, as well as supporting CEO Margaret Mason. Amy is extremely helpful and always goes above and beyond to ensure the job is done. "The dust never settles on Amy's desk", says Mason, when speaking of Amy's work ethic. Mason added, "Amy is a valued member of the our team and we are so glad she is with us!"
