Tote Bags for RI Foster Kids
Thursday, November 21, 2019
7 pm at CBD

Please join us to make tote bags for RI foster kids. Bring your sewing machines, ironing boards, irons, large scissors, measuring tapes, and extension cords. Fabric and notions will be provided.

There's plenty of ways to help, even if you don't sew.

We are also collecting items that children removed from their homes would need. This includes shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, combs, brushes, etc. Please, no stuffed animals or books. Diapers and baby wipes are also appreciated. There will be a donation bin at the Temple, so  you can contribute even if you can't help on Nov. 21.

There will be snacks and music-to-sew-and-help by. It's a fun time for a worthy cause!" RSVP to  Liz Karp.

The multi-award film tells the story of a complicated relationship between an aging father and his son with special needs whom he abandoned while he was a child. Through the film's portrayal of a relationship full of love, rejection and co-dependency, it manages to shed some light on and question the importance of human life, human connection and if life is even possible without either one of them.

Kindly RSVP to   Harris Chorney, or if you would like to help sponsor the film.
