Michael Fowler, Managing Director and Senior Trade Consultant at the World Trade Center Tacoma, WA, has been working on a trade and investment project that was a direct offshoot of the Tacoma-Fuzhou Sister City relationship. His connection to China goes back to 1979 when he was one of two West Point cadets that visited the People's Republic of China when the relationship between our countries was just opening. As you can see from his biography [click here] his career has involved a lifelong connection to Asia.

Michael Richards is Bulk and Breakbulk Manager at Port of Portland [click here] and will present a report on what the marine department has gone through during the pandemic. He is also Vice President of the Portland-Suzhou Sister City Association which although dormant during quarantine is planning to revive during 2022.
