CBP Guidance Updates to Import Duties on Mexico and Canada USMCA Qualifying Products and Potash
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has provided guidance to customs brokers and importers regarding the tariff updates for Mexico pursuant to Executive Order, “Amendment to Duties to Address the Situation at the Southern Border,” and for Canada, pursuant to Executive Order, “Amendment to Duties to Address the Flow of Illicit Drugs Across Our Northern Border.” Both Executive Orders were announced by the White House on Thursday, March 6.
CBP said it will provide additional guidance to the trade through CSMS messages, as appropriate.
