As you know, this is an incredibly challenging time for our country and the world as we struggle with the outbreak of COVID-19. Our hearts go out to all who have already been affected by this terrible virus and those who may be affected in the future.
Washington State has required us to close our doors as of March 16, 2020. While we understand the need for this action, we know that the products and services we offer are part of the long-term solution to illness. It has been proven through science-based research that exercise and healthy living habits are associated with lower rates of illness as well as better treatment outcomes when people fall ill.
We realize how important exercise is to you as our valued member of CBRC and it truly hurts us to know that we are not allowed to be here for you as a physical and emotional support during this difficult time. We will miss seeing you face to face every day and we know you will miss being with us and your fellow members. CBRC is an important part of all our lives, being together is what makes us a Club.
We fully intend to reopen April 1, 2020. This is the proposed end of the state mandated closure. If that date changes we will update you immediately. Once open again, all programs and classes will continue. Our billing for March has been run for about half of our members on March 5th and due to our automated billing system the rest will run on March 20th. This automated process leaves us unable to adjust March dues. That being said we are going to adjust April dues to run at 50% dues to credit for being closed part of March. We will resume regular billing in May assuming we are able to re-open our doors as of April 1, 2020. House charges will come out as regularly scheduled. Ancillary monthly charges such as Kid's Club, Locker Rentals, Ball Machine Rental, Alloy will also be billed at 50% of regular rate in April. Balanced Habits and Personal training monthly contracts will be extended one month. Pre-paid swim lessons and tennis lessons will be compensated through make up lessons once we have re-opened.
We want to keep you active during this difficult time and have a few options available for you.
