Walk with CBS at the Aurora Pride Parade

Sunday, June 8

Represent Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS) and show your support for the LGBTQ+ community by walking in the Aurora Pride Parade on Sunday, June 8 in downtown Aurora. We are walking as part of the Faiths United in Love group, and CBS walkers will walk together behind the CBS banner. The parade steps off at noon, and walkers should arrive by 11:00 a.m. to find parking and the line-up location (which will be shared closer to the parade date).

Before the parade, the Faith United in Love group is holding a celebration service from 10:00 to 10:35 a.m. at New England Congregational Church in Aurora (406 W. Galena Blvd.). Rabbi David is participating, and CBS members are welcome to attend and park in their parking lot. The group will be leaving the Church by 10:45 a.m. to walk to the parade meet-up spot.

If you want to join the fun and show your CBS PRIDE, click here to RSVP and for more information.

Library catalogue software now located on our CBS website

As Rabbi David has been saying, the library contains much more than religious texts. You can find fiction, history, cooking, sports, etc. works that you will find interesting. Use our library software to explore various topics you may be interested in. Bruce and Jeff are asking that you go into our website and try it. If you do, please email us back and let us know if you find it useful.
