Fall is here and that means that the Red Metals Summit in Boston, MA on October 19-20, 2022 is right around the corner. If you attended it last year, you already know the value of this business-focused event. Survey: manufacturers need to reduce "operational friction" with their suppliers
Suppliers are struggling to put their best foot forward as they do business with major manufacturers, and point to complex “operational processes” with those clients as the main problem, a new survey shows. However, the study also showed that manufacturers can harness strong supply chain benefits if they streamline those processes.
Alro Steel to acquire Access Metals
Alro Steel has entered into an agreement to acquire certain assets of Access Metals in Baltimore, MD, on September 30, 2022. Founded in 2006 by Yolanda Drenner, Access Metals is a service center specializing in small orders with quick and competitive service to customers in manufacturing, machining and fabricating.
Revere Copper Recognizes a CBSCA Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Keiarra Collins! She has been awarded a scholarship from CBSCA (Copper and Brass Supply Chain Association). Keiarra is the daughter of Jinson Collins, programmer at Revere Copper Products.
