How to Be the 95-Year-Old I’d Someday Like to Be: Exploring Spiritual Practices to Help Me Get There!—with Rabbi Laura Geller
Monday, August 8, 2022
Many of us enjoyed the Aging Together sessions we had last year with Rabbi Laura Geller. This interactive workshop that strengthens the muscles of gratitude, forgiveness, and resilience. Rabbi Geller leads us towards Elul, the High Holidays and beyond in her engaging, thought-provoking manner.

From Rabbi Geller:
"Do you have friends who are in their 90’s and older of whom you can say: “I want to be like that when I grow up.” The question for us active older adults in our 60’s, 70’s and 80’s is what can we do now to become the 95-year-old we someday hope to be. To put it in a religious context, think about Psalm 90: “Teach us to number our days so we may attain a heart of wisdom.” What do we need to do now to attain that heart of wisdom? In this interactive conversation we’ll explore how Jewish tradition and spiritual practice can help us."
