In Case You Missed It
Rabbi Kleinbaum: “I pray that on this dawn of a new chapter of this country, that the leadership of this country—encouraged by those of us who are just citizens—will once again focus on working to become a country in which the stranger is welcomed in and not murdered by the government.

We pray that we will have a government, like Abraham, who considers what it's been like to be on a journey, and what it's like to be a stranger.

How are we going to wash the feet of the people who are coming here, instead of locking them up in cages? The story of this parsha gives us a roadmap of what kind of country we want to become."
