“The animals they came on, they came on by twosies twosies…” Each year on Shabbat Noach (the parshah about the building of the ark), we celebrate and bless the animals who are so important in our lives. Recalling the Covenant of the Rainbow between Noah and God we celebrate the animals and renew our pledge to protect them. Come for a blessing for your animals and get a rainbow ribbon to tie on to your pet’s collar or cage, or fish tank!

Please note: we are not able to physically accommodate your beloved animals in synagogue, so please leave your animals at home. We will offer a blessing on their behalf and yours! Thank you for understanding.

Keeping Our Community Safe: Protecting Yourself through Immunization
As we enter cold and flu season and remain vigilant about Covid and MPV (formerly known as Monkeypox), make sure you’re up to date on all appropriate adult immunizations. For your reference, here’s a link to the CDC’s Immunization Schedules for Adults 19 years and over. Speak to your healthcare provider for guidance on what’s right for you given your age, medical history, risk factors and prior immunization history.
Masking No Longer Mandatory; Oneg and Kiddush Return!
Masks are currently recommended but not mandatory at CBST. Shabbat Kiddush and Oneg will once again take place in the lower level of the synagogue. We will review this policy weekly, based on the CDC’s community risk level.

Vaccination (with booster) is still required to enter the synagogue. Anyone with COVID-like symptoms or who is within ten days of a new COVID infection and/or a positive COVID test may not enter the building. Similarly, if you have been exposed and are asymptomatic, wear a mask until ten days from exposure. A test at five to seven days from exposure is recommended.
(Full guidelinehere).
