Giving
Please Give to CBST

CBST is committed to providing spiritual space, learning opportunities, social justice, and a vibrant, connected community. Every contribution helps make CBST a reality.

In Case You Missed It
Rabbi Lauren Grabelle Herrmann: "A Jewish spiritual community can be, and should be, a vehicle for moving us individually and communally from darkness to light, despair to hope, fear to determination. Spiritual community is not an escape from the pain of our heart or world; rather, it is where we gain resilience to meet and transform the world. We do this through love, ritual, joy, music, humor, connection, and the pursuit of justice."

The words of this prayer echo the duality with which many trans people live. On this past Shabbat, Trans Day of Remembrance, this setting served as a blessing for these moments of liberation within times of hardship.
