Dear Beth Torah Members,
After much consideration, we think that closing our building is the most responsible course of action as citizens and as Jews. Effective immediately and until further clarification is received from the CDC and our local authorities, Congregation Beth Torah will be closed to the public, except for meetings or events specifically approved by our senior staff or our president, Scott Franklin. More specifically we will:
- close all supplemental religious school programs that involve gathering together in person.
- cancel in-person worship services.
- cancel all adult learning and social activities that involve face-to-face communal gathering.
- hold all meetings virtually.
- post links on our social media feeds about worship service streaming, online learning, and social encounters. Please, stay tuned to our Facebook page and your email.
Email is the best way to start a conversation. Our staff will be working remotely, and while we are monitoring voicemail, they will be most readily available by email. Feel free to contact them as needed. All staff email addresses can be found on our website:

Thank you for helping us ensure that we all stay safe.
