A group of LSU innovators worked together to develop a solution to a critical challenge facing health care providers in the COVID-19 crisis: how to increase the usability of their limited personal protective equipment, or PPE.

On April 20, 2010, the Deepwater Horizon oil platform exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, and LSU professors in the College of the Coast & Environment leapt to action to assess its wide-ranging impact. The college’s findings are still being used today. This new web page illustrates the depth and breadth of the college’s 10 years of critical oil spill research and discoveries.
