Rob Bell's Everything is Spiritual
* * * *
Beginning on January 19, join Sean Miller for a five-week conversation about Rob Bell’s brand new book, Everything Is Spiritual: Who We Are and What We’re Doing Here.
You may remember Rob Bell’s book Love Wins, which was the subject of a preaching series by Tom a number of years ago. Rob Bell is an acclaimed author of over a dozen books and has toured the country as a beloved preacher and public speaker for years.
Everything Is Spiritual is a bold look at the meaning of life and the history of the universe (yes both at once!) in a format that is fun, funny, approachable, and accessible.
Classes will be held over ZOOM from 7-8:15 pm and study questions and a ZOOM link will be sent out the day before. Email Sean you’re interested, and we'll send you information!
THANK YOU
To the 130 people who joined us at the Gazebo for a memorable Christmas Eve service on December 24 in 13 degree temps!

THANK YOU
To the countless people who made cash & food donations to the El Puente and Beacon Place food pantries during the holidays

THANK YOU
To all who have participated to date in the 2021 Annual Fund. While we are not asking people to make specific pledges for 2021, we do know as of 1.6.21 that 111 individuals and / or families have made gifts or commitments totaling $425,000. To fund our 2021 budget, we'll need to raise an additional $250,000, which will likely require the participation of 100 additional individuals / families. Bottom line? One day of ministry at a time...and gratitude for your generosity.

THANK YOU
To the 20 new participants in the 2021 Annual Fund
THANK YOU
To Pam Campbell the Community Church Office Manager for her consistent above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty work for our church and community. Why not send her a note of thanks? Pam's email

The Serenity Prayer
* * * *
God, give me grace to accept with serenity
the things that cannot be changed,
Courage to change the things
which should be changed,
and the Wisdom to distinguish
the one from the other.

Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,
Taking, as Jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it,
Trusting that You will make all things right,
If I surrender to Your will,
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with You forever in the next.
