Thank You to Everyone Who Completed the Surveys
A big thanks to all of you who participated in the annual School Accountability Committee (SAC) surveys - the Teacher Feedback Survey for Parents and Climate Survey.

The data collection window is now closed and the data is being reviewed. Feedback received for teachers will be used in their performance evaluations for the year. Administration and the SAC will be looking at the Climate Survey data. Based on your responses, appropriate actions will be taken immediately, if necessary.

The data will be compiled and shared with the CCA Board, the SAC, and with the CCA community, in adherence to confidentiality laws, at the May Town Hall.
Important Reminders:
After School Supervision
Please note that ALL students not playing in a sports game or personally attending a after-school club/activity must be supervised by parents or guardians or they will be sent to Champions. This includes younger siblings.

To access Champions, please use the stairs near the front office or the stairs by the gym.
Please do not park in the "Coaches" reserved parking space. Our coaches need this space in order to arrive to games on time.

Peer Tutoring for Students in K-4 :
Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Peer Tutoring is now available on Wednesday mornings from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. Tutoring is available on a first come first serve basis for students in grades K-4. Peer Tutoring is being offered by CCA's Peer Helpers. Students can come in for homework help or to work on AR goals.

For Wednesday morning tutoring, please check in with Ms. Sadie at the front desk. We are able to help tutor 3 students per Peer Helper (about 6 students total). Peer Tutoring will be held in the conference rooms in the front office. Students who arrive for Peer Tutoring are expected to stay the entire 30 minutes. Once the student limit is met, any other student present for tutoring will be directed to the gym.

If your child will be attending Peer Tutoring, please have them bring 1-2 AR books, as well as any homework they would like to work on. There will be computers available for students to take AR quizzes.

CCA Library News
The Library is looking for parents or students willing to display their collections during the year. Themes can vary including antique toys, Star Wars memorabilia or Native American art, just to name a few. Kids have already enjoyed a baseball and a Harry Potter Lego display. All items are kept under lock-and-key and a parent volunteer is also available to help set up. Email Amy Larson , the CCA Librarian for inquiries and details.
The CCA Library needs volunteers that can come in regularly from 1:30 to 4:00 on Wednesdays, or from 2:30 to 4:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After school hours are also available. The job requires a conscientious person who is detail oriented with a good sense of order. Alphabetizing skills and a knowledge of decimal places is required. When books are not available for shelving, then organizing books on the shelf is always needed.
