The Fondest Farewell to CCA's Finest Leader:
Jay Cerny
It is with great sadness and the utmost appreciation that CCA bids a bittersweet farewell to Mr. Jay Cerny, CCA's finest principal.

During his seven years as principal, Mr. Cerny elevated our school by focusing on our mission - “Motivated students and responsible parents working together with exemplary teachers for excellent education.”  During his tenure, the school’s academic standards and performance have had tremendous growth, CCA’s reputation in the charter school community is top-notch, the CCA facilities have been through significant improvements, and our financial position is secure and strong.  Mr. Cerny has been an exemplary leader to our teachers and a great mentor for the administrative team. His legacy will live on in these walls.

We wish Mr. Cerny incredible happiness and health during his retirement!

Finding AR Books Just Got a Little Easier
The BookScanner App makes it easy to find Accelerated Reader books on Apple  iPads and iPhones. Now your trip to the public library for your AR reading materials can be much more efficient.

The app lets you know if a book has an AR quiz. Just scan the ISBN number on the back. You will also get the
  • Reading level (ATOS BL)
  • Number of AR points available for taking a quiz

It will also keep a history on each scanned book for easy reference, which you can delete at any time.

Happy reading!

Greetings CCA Families,

We are wrapping up our first year of Cub Scouts with Pack 222- CCA’s own Cub Scout Pack, and we’ve had a wonderful time. Next year, our program will be expanding in some exciting ways. Family Scouting is a new model being introduced that allows both boys and girls to experience the fun and engaging scouting experience. We often have siblings attending our meetings and participating in our events. Now- these siblings can fully participate! If you have a son or daughter who might want to participate in Cub Scouts this summer or next fall, fill out  this form  and we’ll be in touch!

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to email Jasper Peters . You can find answers to some frequently asked questions  here .
We're downstairs in the new and awesome innovation space.
