We hope this edition of the CCAA Counselor Corner (CCC) finds you healthy and well. The official start of spring is just a few days away and we are so excited to see the beautiful blooms and sunny weather popping up all across the country at our member campuses.


With the end of the school year fast approaching, we know your days are busy. To help, we've filled this newsletter issue with resources and information to hopefully help make your days a little easier. Keep reading to find information about our upcoming 2025 Catholic Colleges Reception, a networking opportunity for those who work with transfer students, details about our student Instagram takeover project, some Lenten resources and prayers to help you prepare for Easter, and for details and a link to the 2025 National CCAA First-Year Scholarship application, which we hope you'll encourage all of your seniors to apply for.


Whether you're counting down the days until spring break, summer vacation, or just the weekend, know that we're rooting for you. We hope you can take some time this week to cheer on some of our National CCAA member schools as they play in the March Madness basketball tournament!

2025 Columbus Catholic Colleges Reception Details



We're excited to share that our 2025 Columbus Catholic Colleges Reception will be held on Thursday, September 18 at the Ohio Statehouse!


Registration will open on our website on Friday, August 15 at noon ET. Mark your calendar so you don't miss it!

2025 National CCAA

First-Year Scholarship

For the 13th consecutive year, we are pleased to offer the National CCAA First-Year Scholarship.


The National CCAA First-Year Scholarship is a one-time, $1,000 award that is given to 16 randomly selected seniors from various geographic regions who will attend one of our National CCAA member colleges or universities in Fall 2025.

This year's application is available here and the deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PST.

Students Are Taking Over Our National CCAA Instagram Account!


Curious about what life is like as a student at a National CCAA member college or university? We've invited students from National CCAA colleges and universities to takeover our National CCAA Instagram account for a day to showcase what a typical day in their campus world is like. We've already featured 10 different students and more are scheduled for the remainder of the school year. Join us on Instagram to follow along! You can also access the previous student takeover days, which are saved as highlights on our page.

Join the National CCAA Transfer Admission Group on Facebook


If you regularly work with transfer students, or just want to learn more about how to help students through the transfer process, we hope you'll join our CCAA Transfer Admission Group on Facebook.


This group will be used as a resource for sharing ideas, discussing challenges, asking questions, and encouraging others that work with future transfer students. Please feel free to share the link with any of your colleagues who will also benefit from this group.
