Space is Still Available at Many CCAA Member Schools

for the Fall

Do you have a student who is still making plans for the fall semester? Many of our National CCAA member colleges and universities still have space available and are accepting applications for this fall.

You can find information about them on NACAC's Colleges Openings Update list.

Recap: April Virtual Counselor Town Hall

Thank you to all who joined our final virtual counselor town hall session of the school year on Friday, April 5. Our April counselor town hall session featured several National CCAA members as they shared how their respective institutions are working with the recent FAFSA changes and delays of putting together financial aid packages.

If you were unable to join us last month and are interested in viewing the Zoom recording, you can access it here. The passcode you'll need to access the recording is mxta@.4t

We will take a summer vacation from hosting town hall sessions and look forward to seeing you in the fall when we resume them.

Annual Catholic Colleges Reception

We will once again be hosting our Annual Catholic Colleges Reception this September in Los Angeles. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Our reception has traditionally been a wonderful way to connect with admission representatives from CCAA member institutions, as well as other secondary, independent, community-based, and transfer counselors.

The reception will be held on Friday, September 27. Registration is required - stay tuned for more information this summer and mark your calendars for noon ET on Thursday, August 15, when registration to attend will open on our website, catholiccollegesonline.org.

Applications for the Fall 2024 National CCAA Transfer Scholarship are due by Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT.

This award is offered annually to current students attending a two-year college or university who will have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring semester and will be attending one of ouNational CCAA member institutions as a transfer student. Award recipients are selected by random drawing and for transfer students entering Fall 2023, we awarded eight (8) one-time $1,000 scholarships.

The Fall 2024 National CCAA Transfer Scholarship application is available on our website, so please share the link with any students you know who may be interested.

If there are any topics you'd like to see covered in an upcoming Transfer Corner section of our e-newsletter, please email the Transfer Taskforce.
