Topic of discussion: David Gasson, Principal - MG Housing Strategies, LLC will update us on federal housing and LIHTC improvement legislation including Sen. Wyden's middle income tax credit program.


Nancee Robles* Executive Director TCAC and Gina Ferguson*, Chief Development Section, TCAC will update us on awards of 9% and 4% Bonds and anticipated revisions to regulations in 2022.


Gustavo Velasquez* Director, HCD and Donald Cavier* Acting Executive Director - CalHFA will give a recap of HCD and CalHFA production in FY 2020-2021 and what to expect in 2022.


State Legislative update: Melissa Hyzdu and Tami Miller - Political Solutions along with Alison Dinmore*, Senate Transportation & Housing Committee and Lisa Engel*, Chief Consultant, Assembly Committee on HCD.


There will be a Management & Monitoring Session along with a Developer / Equity Panels and a robust discussion of whether imposing "skilled and trained workforce" on affordable housing developments is an impossibility and would merely aggravate and reduce the production of affordable housing in a significant number of cities and counties throughout California. That is why CCAH opposes SB 5 that proposes $6.5 billion in bond funds for affordable housings unless amended to remove this "impossibility".
