Greetings!

It’s a busy fall at CCAH, with plenty happening both in Sacramento and across the affordable housing community. We’re continuing to stay engaged on policy opportunities affecting affordable housing, including SB 677 and efforts to address challenges involving TEFRA and parcel map appeals. Paul also shares his latest Policy Prospectus, highlighting key issues as we look toward 2027.

We’re also just 50 days away from the 2026 Fall Conference! This November, we’re heading to San Diego for timely policy discussions, practical industry insights, and conversations focused on the issues shaping affordable housing across California. With the room block sold out, we’re looking forward to bringing everyone together.

And there’s more ahead this fall. CCAH PAC is hosting an exclusive fundraiser supporting Sara Hernandez for State Senate, followed by our CCAH PAC Reception and Fundraiser on November 11 during conference week.

Thank you for being part of CCAH. We look forward to seeing you in San Diego!

Even when a project has received the necessary local approvals, it can still face costly delays through parcel map appeals that have little to do with the underlying subdivision itself. These delays increase costs, create financing uncertainty, and can jeopardize the delivery of much-needed affordable housing...READ MORE HERE

Paul's Policy Prospectus

As we look toward the November 3, 2026 General Election, the CCAH PAC Steering Committee has been hard at work interviewing candidates, developing informative materials, and building relationships with the next cohort of California policymakers. The CCAH PAC exists to support candidates and ballot measures that align with our mission and values. As our advocacy efforts continue to grow both in Sacramento and throughout the state, support for the PAC will be critical to expanding our impact. There are several opportunities this fall to get involved and support both CCAH and the housing champions we are working to elect...READ MORE HERE
