What's New and What's Next with CCAR Training

Recovery Professionals, Community Partners, Friends and Allies,

We're thrilled to share some exciting news and updates from the CCAR Training Department! We're entering a period of renewed energy and growth, and we're so grateful to have you all as part of this incredible team.

First and foremost, we extend a warm welcome to Chris Wright, our new Director of Training! Chris brings a wealth of experience to this role, having previously served as the manager of the New London Recovery Community Center. His professional recovery experience, both domestically and abroad, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach and impact. We're so excited to have Chris leading the way!

Behind the scenes, we're also working on important data maintenance projects to enhance our systems and create a better experience for our participants, coaches and facilitators. Recovery Coach Professional designees now have access to their certificates and renewal information through Better Impact. Additional communications regarding these updates, for those who may be impacted, will be forthcoming.

Get ready to expand our horizons! We're incredibly excited to announce the launch of our Virtual Spanish Recovery Coach Professional Process, kicking off with a Spanish Recovery Coach Academy (RCA) class July 14-18 10am-2pm EST! Enrollment is now open, with the class starting at $500 and scholarship opportunities available to help make this accessible. This is a fantastic step towards reaching more communities, and we can't wait to see the impact. For any inquiries about this exciting initiative or opportunities for your agencies, please reach out to Chris Wright directly at cwright@ccar.us.

For those of you who are Recovery Coach Professionals (RCPs) and are interested in taking the next step in your journey, we have an upcoming Facilitator Training opportunity! This training will take place on June 12th and 13th from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM EST. Becoming a CCAR authorized facilitator is a rewarding way to contribute to our mission. Remember, you must have a valid RCP designation to be eligible for this training. To apply for this training please complete an application here.
