  • Infant and Toddler Environment Rating Scales (ITERS)
  • Early Childhood Environment Rating Scales (ECERS)
  • Family Child Care Environment Rating Scales (FCCERS)

How have you been celebrating Week of the Young Child?

Feel free to share with us how you have celebrated the Week of the Young Child with the themes of Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday and Artsy Thursday. If you are sharing photos with us, we ask that you fill out a photo release form. All photos and Photo Release Forms can be emailed to outreach2ccrr@snhs.org.

Provider Appreciation is May 7th!
It is a great time to celebrate the important providers in your child’s life or to celebrate the staff in your Child Care Program.

Below are some ways to share with your families about how they can celebrate Provider Appreciation Day too.

Ideas for Parents

  • Get together with other parents to create a surprise for your child care provider
  • Submit a video testimonial thanking your provider
  • Send flowers, cards or a handwritten note of appreciation
  • Work with your child to create a special remembrance
  • Buy something for your provider’s play area
  • Give your provider a paid day off, a raise, or a bonus
  • Check to see if your employer provides scholarships for toys, equipment or training that you can sponsor as a parent

Credentialing Applications Submitted Through NHCIS will be Processed on
May 17, 2021

Thank you for exploring the New Hampshire Connections Information System (NHCIS). We have started to receive both Early Childhood and After School Credential Applications via NHCIS.

Beginning May 17, 2021 we will be strictly using NHCIS to accept all new and renewal credential applications. We will no longer be accepting applications completed on the online registry or in paper form. 

Please note, if you have already applied using NHCIS, we see your application and will begin processing it on May 17, 2021. If you would prefer for your application to be processed sooner, please mail in your application to the address listed below and we will be happy to assist you.

New Hampshire Breastfeeding Friendly
Child Care Award
The NH Breastfeeding Task Force is accepting applications from NH licensed child care programs who have a breastfeeding policy and engage in practices that support breastfeeding families!

Applications will be accepted and considered if submitted by May 15th at 5:00 PM.
 
All awardees are recognized at the annual NH Breastfeeding Task Force virtual conference and receive a plaque of recognition!
