“Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”
-Carl Brad
Hello Providers,
Happy New Year! Child Care Aware of NH wants to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2023. We hope that you had the opportunity to relax and spend time with loved ones over this past holiday season, and are ready to head into the New Year with renewed energy and fresh eyes.
The Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Specialists (CCRROS) have been braving the cold to do some Outreach work. They have been traveling about the state sharing Child Care Aware of NH's services with local organizations and businesses. They are also helping to support families looking for child care with their Searching for the Right Child Care Information Session. This session provides the tools and resources to help families feel empowered in choosing the right child care program for their family.
The Training and TA Specialists (TTAS) are prepping for all of the exciting professional development opportunities coming up this month! Keep reading to find out more about what we have in store for all of you AND how you can win FREE tickets to this year's Winter Keys to Quality E-Conference. The TTAS are also continuing to support providers participating in this year's 2022-2023 Credential Challenge. To find out more about how you or your program can participate, click HERE.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you do for families and children. We hope that you enjoy this month's edition of Monthly Minutes.

Stay Safe and Healthy in Winter
|
|
Winter storms and cold temperatures can be dangerous. Stay safe and healthy by planning ahead. Prepare your home and vehicles. Prepare for power outages and outdoor activity. Check on older adults.
Although winter comes as no surprise, many of us may not be ready for its arrival. If you are prepared for the hazards of winter, you are more likely to stay safe and healthy when temperatures start to fall.
Check out this resource from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on how you can stay safe this winter.
