A Message from Child Care Aware of NH
The cooler air has settled in and soon there will be snow on the ground. Hello December! 

CCAoNH has been hard at work.  Our new website is up and running.  If you haven't had a chance to check it out, go to to take a peek.  On December 5th, we are offering our first live webinar: "A Shooter in the Building:  Violent Intruder Response Training for Childcare Professionals". Check below for details.  In addition to hosting over 9 other trainings and 12 Directors' and Leadership Collaboratives this month, we are also offering the Training and TA Institute, see below for more details. 

Earlier this week, we released our Progressive Training and Technical Assistance Program.  This is the second year we have offered this year long professional development opportunity for programs. Don't miss out! The application is due by December 15th. Look below for more details about this great program!

The Progressive Training and TA Program is here!

This year, we have a total of five options for programs to choose from to receive intentional and meaningful Training and TA.  

The Progressive Training and Technical Assistance Program is an opportunity for your program to participate in focused and facilitated teambuilding that promotes professionalism and program quality.

There have been a few changes in the Annual Training Calendar.  Our e-newsletter will always have the most up to date changes for locations and times of trainings. Thank you for your understanding recognizing that some changes will arise due to trainer and host site needs and availability.

December Directors' & Leadership Collaboratives
Child Care Aware of NH offers collaborative meetings for Directors, Administrators, and other Early Childhood Leaders from September to June each year. These meetings are designed by each group in the region to reflect area needs and interests and to provide program leaders with Child Care Aware of NH program updates, essential local and state information, along with professional development opportunities. Registration can be completed online through the NH Professional Registry. The registration window does not need to be open for registration to begin. Information on topics and trainings being covered varies based on group interests. Please see the below dates, times and location to find a meeting near you

Training Registration Polices

Individuals attending trainings offered through Child Care Aware of New Hampshire are expected to adhere to our registration policies. When you register for a training you agree to follow the policies and procedures listed below, including but not limited to:
  • Registrants are required to arrive prior to the advertised start time of the training.
  • Training registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Training registrations are non-transferable.
  • Pre-registration is required. Participants must be enrolled.
  • A minimum of 10 registrants are required to hold a training.
  • Training registration is the 1st of each month.  
  • Child Care Aware of NH will be adding trainings taken through Eventbrite into the NH Professional Registry

December 17 is National Maple Syrup Day
It is the perfect morning to begin the day with pancakes, french toast or biscuits topped off with delicious maple syrup.
