November 2020 Monthly Minutes
A Message from Child Care Aware of NH
Hello Providers,

We hope that you and yours have had a wonderful October. As November begins, Child Care Aware of NH powered by Southern New Hampshire Services is thrilled to share some exciting things that we still have planned for this fall.

Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Specialists have spent a lot of time supporting program administrators/providers with the new NH Child Care Search Portal. They have been answering emails and phone calls offering support as everyone gets used to the new Portal. This past month, they have been involved in a couple of data projects. They continue to give referrals to families seeking child care and help families with remote learning options. Our Child Care Resource and Referral Outreach Specialists have also joined the LiveChat team to answer questions for people on our website.

The Training and TA Specialists are busy offering professional development opportunities in a variety of different ways to providers all around the State. They are facilitating trainings and hosting Early Childhood Focused Collaboratives, Peer Learning Communities as well as Communities of Practice Groups. In addition, we have two Special Events this November and two coming in December. Look below for more information about these upcoming events.

In case you haven't heard, CCAoNH has expanded our Registration Window. Providers can now register for trainings for the next month as early as the 15th of the month before. For example, providers were able to register for all November trainings starting October 15th. Our goal is to give providers more time to peruse the available professional development opportunities and make the best choice for their personal professional development needs.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you do for families and children. We hope that you enjoy this month's edition of Monthly Minutes.

CCAoNH Website News
Countdown to the New Site!
The new site is almost here.
Check out some images from the new site.
We are making progress on the new website. We anticipate launching the new site this month. This new website will have a fresh look and a more streamlined design to make finding the information you need even easier.

When the new site launches you will notice a few new things. As our website is the consumer education website for the State of NH, due to this, we have added the NH Connections logo to it and the new site has adopted the logos colors. The NH Connections logo is also being used for the NH Connections Information System as well.

Once the new site is up, we will also have a new domain name and URL: nh-connections.org. This URL will be available as soon as the new website goes live. Individuals seeking nh.childcareaware.org site will be redirected to the new site once it has launched.

We have divided the site into three main sections: Families, Providers and Communities. All the information that was on the old site will still be there but with an easier navigation system. Don't worry as you are getting used to the new site, CCAoNH staff will be available on LiveChat to support you in finding the things that you need.

Please note, that starting Monday November 12, 2020 until launch we will not be able to post any new positions on the Job Board as we switch to the new site. Once the new site is launched, we will be able to resume adding open positions onto our Job Board.

In addition to getting ready to launch the new website we have made some changes and updates to our current site:
