Child Care Aware of NH powered by Southern New Hampshire Services is excited to be hosting online collaboratives.

This week, we will be hosting five (5) Early Childhood Leadership Collaboratives and one (1) Family Child Care Networking Collaborative. Starting in May the Collaboratives below will moving to an every other week schedule.

This Week's Online Early Childhood Leadership Collaborative Topics:
  • Tuesday, April 28, 2020
  • Time: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Trainers: Heather Webster, ECMPWT & Lisa Piccolo, ECMPWT
  • Topic: Terri Peck, Supervisor, from the Child Care Licensing Unit, will be visiting to answer any questions pertaining to the Child Care Licensing Rules. Terri will be able to provide feedback on changes and context to rules.

  • Trainers: Meg Atwood, ECMPWT & Suzanne Regan, ECMPWT 
  • Topic: This month, Rebecca Woitkowski, Kids Count Policy Coordinator and Dane Levis, Community Engagement Coordinator, from New Futures will be joining us. They will share information on advocacy related to early childhood education and COVID-19.

  • Topic: This week, Deb Ross, Training Specialist, Programs and Outreach, from New Hampshire Children's Trust will be joining us. Deb will share helpful self-care practices for providers including calming yoga and mindfulness techniques to decrease stress and tension. She will also weave in Strengthening Families 5 Protective Factors.

  • Topic: This week, Meg Atwood, Infant and Toddler Specialist from Southern New Hampshire Services, Child Care Aware of New Hampshire will be joining us. Meg will provide a presentation on personality styles and its effects on self-care and leadership.
