New Family Resource Day

Attention families of all

NEW Marauders!

On July 31, 2024, your child will be able to pick up their iPad during the New Family Resource Day event. Below is a link to sign up for a 30-minute time slot, during which your child will pick up his/her iPad. The time slots run from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. If you have multiple children picking up their iPads that evening, please sign each child up separately. They may attend the same session, but they must be registered separately (so you will complete the registration process twice: once for each child).

Florida School Entry Health Exam (page 1 & 2 – dated after 8/11/2023)

Please send a completed copy of your child’s Parish Verification form (if applicable) to financeoffice@ccchs.org

SPORTS

If your child plans to participate in any CCC athletic teams this school year, they will need to upload FHSAA forms to the website AthleticClearance.com PRIOR to participation in any training or practices. Forms can be accessed by clicking on the links below.

Parent Volunteer Central

New opportunities are being added daily

REMINDER: if you plan to purchase your volunteer hours, the cost is $1,200. (Rate reduced to $1,000 if you purchase before October 1st.)

**ALL parents are required to complete annual parent service hours: 30 hours for two-parent households, 15 hours for single-parent households (refer to Parent Student Handbook ).

Student Service Opportunities

All CCC students are required to complete 100 service hours in order to graduate. Any rising 9th graders who would like to accomplish volunteer hours this summer before school begins are eligible (but not required) to complete 25 hours before the 2024-25 school year begins. Please contact Mrs. Knoop with any questions or clarifications!

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

CCC alumna Christine (Ware) Hamacher ’86 (and wife of the recently retired Alan Hamacher) will be featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show this upcoming Tuesday morning to talk about her nonprofit organization: SAGES - Plays with Purpose.

Be sure to tune in on NBC at 10am!

BOYS BASKETBALL

Our Boys Basketball Summer League is going strong! The Praedators have participated in several summer tournaments, including the above Hard2Guard on June 8 - which our Yellow team WON! This weekend the Red team will be playing in the Eckerd College Summer Tournament - beginning tonight at 9pm at St. Pete HS!

Pick a game from this weekend's tournament to go out and support CCC Basketball!

VOLLEYBALL

If you plan to try out for one of our three indoor volleyball teams (Varsity, JV, Freshman) this year, you should plan to attend the following dates with our team camp:

OPEN GYM: Begins 7/9 (times and details below)

Tickets for home games for ALL Marauder sports teams must be purchased at GoFan.co or via the GoFan app. Individual ticket price for all CCC regular season home athletic events is $7.00 per person. CCC students with I.D. and children under 10 are free.

Required Athletic Forms

State law requires all student-athletes to have current sports physicals (this is different from the school physical form) and consent forms on file before a student may practice, tryout or play in a sport. This includes summer conditioning. These must be on the FHSAA issued forms. No other forms are accepted.

PRIOR to participation, the FHSAA EL2 (Physical Evaluation) form must be uploaded AND the EL3 (Consent and Release from Liability) form must be digitally signed on AthleticClearance.com. Forms can be accessed by clicking on the links below.
