ST. JUDE'S MEDAL RECIPIENTS

Congratulations to this year’s recipients of the DOSP St. Jude Medal which is given each year in the Diocese of St. Petersburg as a way to recognize those persons showing distinguished and outstanding service to their parish.

We give special recognition to our CCC parents, Mrs. Kelly Bermudez (mother of Loren ’19 and Alexander ’26) and Mrs. Mary Rehm (mother of Lauren ’06 and Lindsey ’09) who will be awarded the medal on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, 5815 5th Avenue N., St. Petersburg.

Assistance to Hurricane Ian Victims and Special Collection

Hurricane Ian has caused significant damage throughout the state of Florida, including parts of our own Diocese. Many in the most impacted areas have lost everything. In response to the devastation, the Diocese of St. Petersburg is asking for donations for our Disaster Relief Fund. 100% of the funds collected will benefit people affected by natural disasters including Hurricane Ian. In addition, Bishop Parkes is asking all parishes to conduct a special collection for our diocesan Disaster Relief Fund during one of the weekends in October. We ask that funds be sent to the Diocese no later than November 4, 2022.

For those who wish to respond by giving online, they may go to:  dosp.org/disasterrelief/ and follow the instructions included on the page.
