It's been just over a year since we moved our family to live here with you in Mt. Pleasant and its been amazing!  As we've settled in and gotten to know our patients and community, we've listened to suggestions, seen needs, and we're taking the opportunity to improve.  I am excited to share with you all of the new things happening at Coastal Carolina Chiropractic, the first being this newsletter!  While we are active on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, we understand that not everyone is, so we will use this newsletter to let you know about events, promotions, new services or changes to current services, etc.  I'll also share useful tidbits of information with you in each newsletter.  Take a few minutes to look over the very first issue of the CCC newsletter and see what we have going on!

Meet Valerie DeMasi, LMT, CIMI

Valerie recently moved from Colorado to join us in Mount Pleasant. She is a 2002 graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) and has been practicing massage since.

Valerie uses various body work techniques which benefit the musculoskeletal, circulatory-lymphatic, and nervous systems, and positively influences the overall health and well-being of the patient.

While at BCMT, Valerie completed an elective course in Infant Massage. The training at BCMT, combined with 20 years of experience as a nanny, confirmed her passion for Infant Massage. After graduation from BCMT she completed an intensive training program to become certified to teach Infant Massage through the accredited program at the International Institute of Infant Massage. Valerie also specializes in prenatal and postpartum massage for expecting and recent moms.

Valerie's many years of experience and passion for massage shows through in her expert technique. Schedule your massage with Valerie today!

Give the Gift of Health . . . on us!
Hippocrates said "A wise man ought to realize that health is his most valuable possession."  We would agree!

Once a year we extend a very special invitation to our patients to give their friends and family the Gift of Health.  The Gift of Health entitles your loved ones to a consultation, nutritional assessment, orthopedic and neurologic exam and xrays if clinically necessary at no cost to you or the recipient!

Gift of Health Certificates will be delivered via email on Monday, December 16th.  Gift of Health Certificates will expire January 31 so be thinking of who you would like to give the Gift of Health.
Pathways Connect
Conscious Parenting Group
We are excited to announce the hosting of Pathways Connect Gathering Groups in our office! Pathways Connect is a nonprofit, educational, wellness program and is free to parents.

Pathways Connect offers us a community to support each other in our conscious choices for family wellness. Using Pathways magazine as a springboard for topics, we will discuss each new quarterly issue's articles at our Gathering Groups.

We had a great time at our first meeting in November!  We're taking a break during the holiday season - the next Pathways Connect meeting will be Thursday, January 23 at 6:00p.m.

We are excited to be moving forward in the New Year with our CCC Family by our side.  We welcome comments and suggestions to help us improve, so don't be shy!  After all, our purpose is to serve you and your family.
