Hello CCC W4M members,
CCC and Water 4 Mercy are traveling to Tanzania next summer and priority will be given to students who have been active in the CCC W4M Service Chapter.
Students and their CCC chaperones led by social studies teacher Ms Regi O'Brien, will join Water 4 Mercy founder Nermine Rubin on a life-changing visit to remote villages who are or will soon benefit from access to clean water. This once-in-a-lifetime journey will also include visits to the Sisters of Notre Dame primary and secondary school and the Don Bosco KIITEC school in Arusha; safari tours of Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park; and a visit to the Don Bosco Technical Institute and AiTEC Farm supported by Water 4 Mercy in Dodoma.
Throughout the trip, students will participate in hands-on activities and will interact with and learn from Water 4 Mercy's contractors, innovation:Africa (sustainable clean water technology), and CultivAid (agricultural systems & technology) as well as with local and international dignitaries.
An informational Zoom session will be scheduled later in June (date TBD) to answer questions. In the meantime, please email any questions to Beth Lani, blani@ccchs.org.
