Congratulations to Garth Mansfield on his decision to publicly announce he is a follower of Jesus Christ. Garth will be baptized today during our first service by Pastor Jerry Arnold.

Deepest Sympathies    
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Christina (Albert) Romero for the recent passing of her mother, Theresa Masses-Valera (83). A small, private, memorial service will soon be held at our church with Pastor Jerry officiating. Please remember to uplift Christina and her entire family in prayer during their season of grief.
Widows Connect Group Begins on Monday 
Sep 20 at 7pm 
A group to give widows a safe and compassionate community of support and growth following loss. This group is sponsored by CCC women's ministries and will meet in the Studio Rm, #218, led by Rhonda Atkins, rhatkins12@hotmail.com.  
Twelve Women of the Bible Study this Tuesday

A 10-week small group study will be held in the Connection Corner, Rm #205 facilitated by Lindsey Pitts and Joey Tolbert. Sponsored by CCC Women's Ministries. Please join us!
Praise & Worship Guitar (Beginner's)
Sep 21 - Oct 19 from 7-8pm  
Join a community of beginning praise and worship leaders! Each night will focus on 15 mins of basic guitar skills practice followed by 45 mins of practicing specific popular praise songs. Participants should have a knowledge of the Key of G chords, a guitar, capo, and an electric tuner. Ages 10+ welcome (parents of minors may be asked to stay). Join our One Bethlehem Night Production - This Thursday  
Thursdays at 7pm 
If you would like to join in this year's production of One Bethlehem Night, meet us Thursday evenings from 7-8pm in the Connection Corner, Rm #205, beginning on September 16. Children are welcome if they are accompanied by a participating adult and can follow simple stage directions. If you would like to assist behind the scenes (costumes, sets, stagehand, lights, or food) please contact Mindy Herman at mindalinda@gmail.com.
Community Bible Study

Pastor Jerry continues to teach from the Bible Book of Romans, in the Conference Room, #203. All are welcome in-person or to join us LIVE via our CCC Facebook page.
Bibles in Lost & Found     
There are many Bibles in our Lost & Found Desk (same as the Media Desk). Please stop by to check if one of those is yours? The unpicked-up Bibles will be taken to the Samaritan Center or will be given away.
CCC Grant  
CCC students of GCC schools in our area (includes CA & GCA) can be eligible for additional help on their tuition payments ($50/month) by attending Sabbath School at least twice a month, (be sure you sign in to show your SS attendance), participating in a church ministry, and keeping their grades up at school. Please fill out the CCC Grant 2012-22 form located on the HUB under the FORMS tab. Those contributing to the grant, please specify CCC Grant on the tithe envelope.

Free Groceries

Could you use some extra groceries? Food insecurity is more common than many people think, and to help meet this need, Southern Adventist University distributes free groceries to the community. The next opportunity is this Saturday from 2-5pm at the Collegedale Credit Union, 5046 University Drive.
